Touching Eternity Blog Tour

Hi guys welcome to my stop on the Touching Eternity Blog Tour, what can I say,I´m head over heels for this book to come out. I read the first book on this series and it was amazing and well I need my next Isaiah fix right now.

But First things first, lets take a look at the one of a kind stunning cover

I don´t now about you guys but this cover grabbed my attention as soon as I saw it, I think that the eyes have a deep quality that makes you want to stare at it and wonder what this girl is thinking. I love how all the colors blend together from the blue of her eyes to the font, everything is perfect. Is soft, intriguing and quite stunning.

Check out the power Blurb
What would you choose?
She had everything but freedom.
He had nothing but his loyalty, his wits and his training.
She was a prisoner, a disease, not fit for the world, and she didn't know why. But she did know she wasn't allowed to die, she wasn't allowed to live and she wasn’t sane.
He was a soldier, a protector, but his foundation will be tested when he must destroy the only light in his dark world.
Thrown together, prisoner and keeper, their rebellion will splinter through time, changing the course of history and the fate of the world. Their love will challenge their greatest enemy and immortalize them forever.
Loyalty. Freedom. Love.
What would you risk?
"Let me die."
Pain darkened his eyes. "Never."

Airicka Phoenix is the author of TOUCHING SMOKE (Touch Book #1), TOUCHING ETERNITY (Touch 1.5), TORRID, a short story as part of the Whispered Beginnings: A Clever Fiction Anthology and WANTING & INTENTIONS, two stories as part of the Midnight Surrender Anthology. When she's not hammering away at the keyboard, she can be found banishing pirates or crawling through the attic looking for lost treasure with her kids. She loves baking, gardening and reading. She also likes to travel and take pictures of everything she comes across. When asked, Airicka describes herself as a sarcastic basket case that has an unhealthy addiction to chocolate, old movies and really bad jokes. She loves to laugh, make friends and write. If she could have one wish granted, it would be to spend one day as a fly-on-the-wall inside Stephen King's mind. If she could have two wishes granted, she would ask for a castle dedicated entirely to her overwhelming collection of books
airikaNow,now, now I have something pretty awesome for you, Airicka Phoenix accepted an interview from yours truly and I´m going to share it with you.

Touching Eternity

Airicka´s Interview
Hi Airicka Welcome to Book Addict, I’m so happy to have the opportunity to talk with you for a bit without all the lovely stalkers that follow you everywhere.
It’s really great to be here. Thank you so much for having me!

Tell me a little about how the creation of the Touch Series world started
Well, I was writing my Hunter Series (will be released spring 2013), and there’s a part where Clara is fighting a demon and she catches a wisp of movement from the corner of her eye. That’s when Amalie walked into my head and refused to leave.

1.       How would you describe Touching Eternity?

Dark. I think people who have read Touching Smoke will be very surprised by the severity of Touching Eternity. A lot of Touching Smoke comes off light and fun because of Fallon’s sarcasm and her sense of humor. Touching Eternity is very powerful in the sense that it’s about Amalie. I strongly advice that Touching Smoke get read first simply because you learn about Amalie in the first book. Amalie is a very broken character. Her story is unique and tragic. But it’s because of her that Fallon is created and that makes her story all the more important. It’s one that needs to be told. I only suggest that people read it with great care. It does delve into situations that aren’t suitable for everyone.

2.       Which character you had most fun writing?

Garrison. I know it sounds weird, because I already know everything possible about him, but I think I learned a lot just by writing from inside his head. It was interesting and I think I was a little shocked by some of his thoughts. He’s definitely a character with many layers.

3.       Do you have any actor or actress in mind that would be the perfect to play the main characters?

I personally don’t. I think each of my characters are so uniquely mine, so crafted by my imagination that I just can’t picture an existing face. However, I did have a vote for people who have read the book, to see what they imagined.
I got Lily Collins for Amalie/Fallon and Taylor Kitch for Isaiah.

4.       Who is your favorite character in your book? Which character did you have the most fun writing?

I don’t have one. To me, that’s like picking your favorite child. I love them all — yes, even Garrison. And I loved writing all of them.

5.       What was your main source of inspiration for the story?

I don’t wait for inspiration. Amalie’s story needed to be told. Period.

6.       What should readers expect from Touching Eternity?

They can expect hard, cold truths. There is paranormal throughout the novel, but the blunt of the story is about a girl who has been isolated and tortured her entire life. She is in a dark place, alone, scared and teetering between insanity and reality. She’s been forgotten by society and left to the hands of someone she’s supposed to trust. Touching Eternity is the story of a girl who has nothing, not even the will to live, yet still manages to start a revolution and changes history.

7.       What was the book that most influenced your life — and why?

I never had one. Sad, because I read like I breathe, but no, I have never read a book that influenced me.

8.       If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

I don’t regret, or at least try not to. If I let myself, I would rewrite everything again and again. But once I deem a book done, it’s done. I will not go back and fix it again. Otherwise I will never stop.

9.       What are you reading right now?

I am reading The Iron Fey Series by Julia Kagawa

10.    What were your feelings when you first saw the cover of the finished product?

I was delighted I finally finished it! I went through a few images and a few covers before settling on the one I have now.

11.    How did you come up with the title?

For me, Amalie/Fallon’s love for Isaiah is like the life cycle of fire. It is untouchable, beautiful, hot, passionate, warming… dangerous. I wanted to portray that in the series. Amalie and Isaiah’s love becomes immortal. It will reach eternity.
1)      Touching Smoke
2)      Touching Fire
3)      Touching Embers
4)      Touching Ash
5)      Touching Eternity (1.5)

12.    Which writer would you consider a mentor?

I am a huge fan of so many brilliant authors. Stephen King is one. Nora Roberts is another. I think a lot of them are indie authors who are just inspirational with their stories, not just the ones they published, but the ones they had to live to get to where they are.

13.    What are your current projects?

After Touching Eternity, I have a short, fun contemporary romance coming out in time for Valentes Day called The Wrong Kind of Love. Followed by the first book to The Hunter series. Then Touching Fire right after. I also have several short stories coming out in between those.  You can keep a closer eye on releases on my Facebook or website http://airickaphoenix.com/Author/?cat=10
